KD.1 was awarded the contract to conduct the Land Access and Stakeholder management services for the  Shallow Well Drilling Program that is associated with the South West Hub research program and a continuation    of the extensive research being carried out in the area by DMP in association with Geoscience Australia, Curtin   University and UWA and linked to the National research effort with regard to Carbon Capture and Storage.

The program consists of drilling Stratagrahic wells at three selected sites to gather core samples from the various strata that have been identified by the previous 3D

Curtin University aslo conducted a smal 3D Seismic Survey in and area to act as a training ground for students and staff whilst gathering information on the shallow formations down to approximately 1,000 metres.

DMP has leased the well site area from Landholders for a 3 year period and will provide access to the sites to both Curtin University and UWA as well as Geoscience Australia for ongoing scientific monitoring of the strata and well as Passive Seismic monitoring.

Environmental Plans and Landholder/Stakeholder consultation over and extended period. Operational support to contractors and proponents through a very difficult process whilst keeping the Community abreast of survey impact, which was minimal. Successful non intrusive definition of the prospect and minimised the impact on Landholders and the general population of the area
